We need a new thread for the when the mail starts to arrive today.

I feel like I've been waiting so long, I've gotten to the point that I'm dreading the end of the wait. I've worked myself up into worry about the results, whereas I was quite calm and relaxed when I first sent off the application.

The 6+ week wait for Explore now seems utterly brutal to me!

*sigh*

How long until we totally clutter this thread up?

I was just starting to wonder if today was some mail holiday I wasn't aware of....no sign of the mail truck yet. Of course maybe that's because he's so bogged down with big fat envelopes!!!

..and so many 25s (26s!) in the Explore scores. Those are heavier, aren't they?

P.S. Let the cluttering begin! I'm going to do my part!

Having gone through the months long private schools admissions process, I have to say that I am impressed that DYS can and does get its answers out so quickly. Of course, that doesn't make the wait any easier when you know the letter's in the mail...

Good luck to everyone waiting on the mail today. I just heard our mail truck pull up, but I'm only expecting bills today.

And again, Cathy A, the more information letter is not a bad thing. But I agree, it's tough trying to figure out what to send.

Well....I can take $5.00 off of a big fat Build-A-Bear elephant wearing a pink dress (????????), not to mention 2 free lawn care applications. Why am I not happier?

I'm trying to "calm down" and phrase my next ACT phone call. 4-6 weeks is officially past!

That sucks. They need to have online score look-ups for those kinds of tests.

Next year it's ACT all the way (same company that I'm ticked off at today, but they are MUCH faster for the ACT, not to mention that online feature.....)

It's up to you ladies to keep me entertained this week. After being on hold f-o-r-e-v-e-r (probably doubling the cost of my scores, LOL!), I got the same song and dance from ACT/ESTS. For whatever reason, the C-MITES scores are behind the others. Perhaps it's because of our lovely norms and such? I'd be just as happy getting them later in a separate mailing, LOL!

But the C-MITES Explores haven't even been sent yet....they should go out later this week. I'm still hoping for the week's end, but they just aren't coming tomorrow....or Wednesday for that matter, . Oh well, it's not like I'm making any short-term decisions based on their speedy arrival. I (think I) can wait.
